Even so opening up the store on the Switch is a good deal longer than on the Xbox and it's a much more cumbersome store so yeah let's not be giving the Switch any brownie points considering how barebones it all is.
You can't even send a message to people on your friends list using it, let alone set up voice chat lobbies, or play custom background music etc etc etc. Go to your home screen, hover over the open app, push the Menu button and choose Quit. And like any other computer, if you're running a bunch of apps, it can slow everything down. Your Xbox One may not look like it, but it's really just another computer.
My Xbox’s (that’s right more than one) get 1.7 upload and everything else in my house gets 15-18mbps upload. The problem with lag might not be your internet. Get access to this game and play with cloud gaming (where available) with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription (sold separately). Xbox One X, 360, Wii U and 3DS :) Anxiously awaiting: Soul Calibur VI. if somebody goes to your page, it simply says 'offline.' When you're ACTUALLY offline, it says 'last online xx hours ago,' so it's super easy for people to see when you're appearing offline.

I just got off the phone with Xbox support and had a technician for cox leave my house. The appear offline feature is Xbox one is pretty worthless. Of course the Switch is snappy and fast, bearing in mind how you can do almost nothing on it. Dnoe, please spread the word to your Xbox live friends who have cox internet. Or how doing anything on the Wii U was a slow, torturous experience.Īs for comparing it to the Switch that is a completely disingenuous comparison. Or how loading your games list in X360 took a good 30-40 seconds depending on how much you installed. I remember how bad the OG XB1 interface was. It uses three operating systems and a hypervisor to coordinate. Either you have something weird going on with your system or you are impossible to please because honestly we've never had it so good when it comes to console UI's. So since the Metro update, Ive found my 360 to be incredibly slow at performing what used to be fairly speedy. The new store is the slowest thing to load but even that takes maybe a full second at most. The official story: UPDATE The post has since been deleted, but US Xbox Live reps offered the following comment: 'To answer your question, we will not be expanding the 100 friends list as a part. Everything just opens up pretty much instantly for me. I agree about the ads but every time i hear complains about the UI being slow i am completely baffled.
